My friend Ita told me that there was a new beautiful beach located on the Bukit not far from Uluwatu beach and Dreamland Beach. She told me that the beach is so...beautiful with magnificent scenery along the way to the beach. Local inhabitants usually called the beach as Pandawa Beach but among surfer the beach is commonly named "secret beach", maybe its because of the way go to the beach was difficult.
But now...the access is quiete smooth thanks to the government that make the big change with the access road. They slit the big hill similar to the road access in GWK...high rise hill on the left and your right side covered with green foliage accompany along to the beach...You will be amazed with 5 big sculptures inside the niche of the hill side. The 5 big sculptures represented 5 Pandawa on the story of Mahabrata, there are Yudhistira, Bima, Arjuna, Nakula and Sadewa. Don't miss your time to take photos with this sculptures and green hill lanscape...it's worthy..With only 5000 rupiah/ person for ticket entrance you can enter this beach.
Approaching the beach they road is split on the left and the right side. Usually the left side road is for surfing and the right side road is more narrow and great for family activities. We choose to the right side. Don't worry with your vehicle, the beach is provided with large parking space for motorcycle and cars. In this side, the water is narrow, only a half man body. This beach is suitable for canoe activitiy, swimming and sunbathing. With cheap price you can rent canoe for only 10.000 rupiahs.
You can also enjoy the scenery on the beach side while eat sweet corn barbeque for only 5000 rupiahs. You can also see the farmer cultivated the seaweed. Then they spread out the seaweed on the horisontal pole to dry in the sun, after that they sell the seaweed or processing it into another products like seaweed chrispy. If you want to buy this fresh seaweed you only pay 12.000 rupiahs per kilo. Its a cheap price for valuable substance.
This type of the beach is so fit with any kind of situation for photography. Whether you come here in the morning, or in the afternoon, or in the evening, pandawa beach bring alot of happiness and great scenery for your photography activities. Pandawa beach located in Kutuh village, south kuta, badung. From By pass Ngurah Rai Road take the way road to jimbaran-ungasan, pass GWK and if you face the intersection of Nirmala Supermarket take the left side to bali cliff road and then you will you face the junction, take left side to kampial nusa dua. If you see the big billboard of Pandawa Beach just turn right and follow the road, it goes to the pandawa beach. If you haven't see this beach, you must visit again Bali sometimes.
